C&L Aerospace will sell Australian airline REX Airlines' owned 737NG inventory.
""The unfortunate circumstance of REX going into administration has resulted in their 737 fleet no longer flying and this inventory becoming available for sale,"" C&L Aerospace read in a statement.
The deal was signed through REX's administrator Ernst & Young. The inventory, containing a CFM56-7 engine, auxiliary power unit, landing gear, and other fast-moving parts, was purchased by REX to support its now grounded fleet of Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
""With our roots in Australia, we have a long-standing relationship with REX,"" said C&L Aviation Group CEO Chris Kilgour. ""So, C&L was the natural choice to assist in the disposal of these assets. With over 5,000 active 737NG aircraft flying worldwide, this inventory is in high demand.""
The inventory consists of over 100,000 individual parts. They will be marketed through C&L's global sales team.
