Turkish Technic and Rolls-Royce have signed an agreement to establish an engine maintenance centre at Istanbul Airport.
The new facility is expected to be operational by late 2027, with the aim of enhancing Turkish Technic’s capabilities in delivering maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services for Rolls-Royce’s Trent XWB-97, Trent XWB-84, and Trent 7000 engines, which power A350 and A330neo aircraft.
“This collaboration represents a significant step forward in expanding our engine maintenance capabilities and delivering world-class services to our customers around the globe,” said Ahmet Bolat, chairman of the board and executive committee at Turkish Technic. “The new facility will position Turkish Technic at the forefront of the global MRO industry."
With an annual capacity of more than 200 engine shop visits, the centre will serve both Turkish Airlines and Rolls-Royce TotalCare customers worldwide.
