Turkish Airlines will begin daily operations on its Sydney service from January 2026.
The airline will progressively increase the number of weekly services on this route throughout 2025, with the current four-weekly flights increasing to five-weekly from mid-June, and six-weekly from the end of October.
Türkiye’s flag carrier began operating flights per week between Sydney and Istanbul via Kuala Lumpur in November 2024.
In 2026, the introduction of ultra-long-range aircraft to the Turkish Airlines fleet is expected to make the Sydney-Istanbul route a non-stop service.
The route is currently served by the airline’s A350-900 aircraft.
