Turkish Airlines has partnered with Samsung to launch Smart Tagged Baggage Service, a new solution powered by SmartThings Find.
The service, which went live today (December 1), enables faster and more efficient tracking of misplaced or delayed baggage through the use of the Galaxy SmartTag.
Through this collaboration, Turkish Airlines has become the first airline in the world to implement SmartThings technologies in passenger baggage tracking.
Using Samsung’s technology, passengers will also be able to upload a photo of their luggage within the SmartThings Find app, helping to identify their baggage more easily.
