Tunisair, the national carrier of Tunisia recently took delivery of a new A320neo as a part of its fleet modernization. This is the fourth aircraft received by the airline, the first three were delivered in December 2021, February 2022, and November 2022. Going ahead, the airline is planning to add another narrow-body passenger jet capable of carrying over 13 passengers in business class and 135 in economic class.
The contract for the Airbus A320neo was signed last year in October as an effort to modernize the fleet and retire the aging aircraft. According to Airbus, the A320 saves 20% on fuel consumption and emits less CO2 compared to previous-generation aircraft.
The new aircraft can accommodate 12 passengers in business class and 138 passengers in economy class. It offers wireless Internet service, in addition to a state-of-the-art entertainment system
