Ryanair said it would launch five "exciting new routes" from Cork in 2023, expanding its summer schedule from the southern Irish city by 20%.
The new destinations are East Midlands, La Rochelle, Rome, Seville and Venice Treviso. The expansions will be "underpinned", the budget carrier said, by the addition of a third aircraft to be stationed at Cork Airport.
Ryanair said it would increase the number of flights per week from Cork to destinations such as Alicante, Faro and Liverpool.
The airport's managing director Niall MacCarthy said with Ryanair flying to 29 destinations from the airport in 2023, it would "offer the best choice of destinations next summer" for passengers in Ireland's south.
