Florian Lenser has been named TUI Group director responsible for legal, compliance and board office, with the appointment to take effect on June 1.
Lenser will succeed Nina Scherf, who is leaving the travel and airline company after joining in April 2022. Lenser joined TUI in 2017 from solar business Conergy, where he ran legal affairs. He has been director board office at TUI since 2018.
"With Florian Lenser we have an excellent and experienced successor for Nina Scherf from our own ranks. He knows the company and the sector very well and has worked closely with Nina Scherf," said Sybille Reiß, chief people officer and labour director.
"Nina Scherf has successfully accompanied TUI during a short but very intensive and important period for the company. We would like to thank her very much for the good cooperation and wish her all the best for her next steps," she added.
