Transavia will commence a new service between Amsterdam and Cairo later this year, making the city the airlines fourth destination in Egypt.
From October 27, 2025, the carrier will fly three times per week to the Egyptian capital from Amsterdam. Transavia already serves Hurghada, Sharm el Sheikh and Marsa Alam.
In addition to the new route from Amsterdam, Transavia France also flies to Cairo, with departures from Paris-Orly, Lyon and Marseille.
During the upcoming winter period, Transavia will also offer flights to the Greek island Crete for the first time, alongside additional flights to Spain and Portugal. These changes are pending regulatory approval and partner discussions.
