Transaero Airlines is transferring some flights from Moscow’s Domodedovo airport to Vnukovo to enable its rapid expansion. Under the MoU to be signed today, Transaero will handle up to two million passengers at Vnukovo airport. Although the airline’s base will remain at Domodedovo, operations from Vnukovo, which start from May, will allow its expansion using more 777s and 747 aircraft.
