The majority of the Taoyuan Union of Pilots in Taiwan has voted to go on strike from next month. The nation’s largest carrier, China Airlines, will be severely affected as most of the union’s members are China Airlines pilots.
A strike could still be averted however as the two parties will meet on May 11 to try and settle the dispute over working conditions.
