TAAG Angola Airlines partners with Lufthansa Technik in long-term deal for aircraft component services

TAAG Angola Airlines and Lufthansa Technik have signed a long-term agreement for aircraft component services for the Angolan flag carrier’s new fleet of 787 aircraft.

Starting with the arrival of the airline’s first 787 in January, and spanning 12 years, both the airline’s 787-9s and 787-10s will receive the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) provider’s total component support (TCS).

The TCS will grant the Luanda-based airline access to Lufthansa Technik’s spare parts pool.

Lufthansa Technik will also support Angola Airlines with an aircraft production inspection program (APIP), which does not only cover the airline’s 787s, but also its fleet of A220s, that the carrier is currently building up.
