Swedavia reports second quarter results

Swedish state-owned airport operator reported its second quarter 2025 results.

The company's revenues for the second quarter were 1.8bn Swedish krona ($167 million), increasing 115 million krona ($11.8 million) compared with 2024.

“Increased international travel, combined with adjusted airport charges and an improved commercial offering, led to an increase in net revenue,” said Swedavia CEO and president Jonas Abrahamsson. “At the same time, profit was affected by increased costs, particularly as a result of higher depreciation relating to commissioned investments."

Operating income improved by 11 million krona ($1.1 million) to 178 million krona ($16.6 million). The company recorded a profit before tax of 109 million krona ($10.2 million), up from 96 million krona ($8.9 million) a year prior.
