Dubbed the president’s “vanity airline”, Sri Lanka plans to close Mihin Lanka, which operates four Airbus aircraft to several Indian cities as well as Bangladesh, Indonesia, the Seychelles, the Maldives and Bahrain. The airline has accumulated losses of $117 million. The routes will cease from the end of the year and will be covered by SriLankan Airlines.
