Southwest Airlines has appointed Danielle Collins as its new managing director of investor relations, effective November 3, 2025.
Collins joins Southwest after a nearly two decades at Shell. For the past seven years, based at the energy giant's Houston headquarters, she served as director of investor relations at Shell.
Prior to her transfer to Houston she was based in Calgary, where she held roles in accounting, finance process management, and strategic performance at Shell.
"Danielle has a proven track record in corporate strategy and investor engagement and is a trusted voice within the institutional investor community," said Tom Doxey, EVP and CFO of Southwest Airlines.
"She will be an outstanding asset to Southwest as we continue communicating our transformation, strategic priorities, and long-term value proposition."
Originally from the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador, Collins holds a BA in political science and a Bachelor of Commerce in accounting from Memorial University of Newfoundland.
