Leisure carrier Small Planet Airlines continues expanding its destinations’ map – after operating in Cambodia for the last couple of years, this winter season the company also started flying from Saudi Arabia and India. To reduce the negative effects of seasonality Small Planet Airlines bases some of its aircraft in Asia for the fourth year in a row.
“In the summer season, we perform most of our flights in Europe. However, in winter we face a challenging question of how to utilize all the fleet of 21 aircraft. Asia came as the best answer because it has a reverse seasonality and its holiday market is growing rapidly. We are glad that in four years we managed to expand our partnerships and offer new destinations,” said Vytautas Kaikaris, CEO of the Small Planet Group.
