SkyWatch has launched a "fully digital aircraft owner's insurance platform" to enable light aircraft owners "easily customise their insurance and obtain coverage in a matter of minutes".
The "game-changing" and "hassle-free" format will be underwritten by London-headquartered aviation insurer and risk manager Global Aerospace.
"We believe it is time for the next generation of aviation insurance - faster, easier, and more customised to the needs of pilots. Our innovative approach is built on a foundation of data-driven technology and a deep understanding of the unique needs of pilots," said Tomer Kashi, co-founder and chief executive of SkyWatch.
"We are excited to expand our partnership with SkyWatch to offer an easy-to-use, technology-based platform that simplifies the process of buying aviation insurance for owner pilots", said Jeff Bruno, Global Aerospace's president and chief underwriting officer.
