Air transport technology solutions company SITA recorded revenues of $1.5bn in 2023, a rise of 7% in comparison to the previous year.
“We’ve significantly over-achieved the first-year goals of our business plan to grow SITA. As a result, we entered 2024 with a strong tailwind,” said David Lavorel, CEO of SITA, who unveiled the company results at SITA’ general assembly in June.
The company also revealed an agreement with the Airports Authority of India (AAI) that will see the latest passenger processing solutions and cloud-enablement for 44 airports in India, as well as SITA Total Airport Optimizer the company’s new AI-powered platform, which aims to help airports manage their operations.
SITA indicated that it expects to see a similar positive performance throughout this year.
