Silver Airways intends to drop its Montana routes under the Essential Air Service (EAS) program and has filed a notice with the Department of Transportation (DOT). Silver will still have to operate the routes until a replacement carrier is found. Bids from new carriers are expected by the DOT by July 15.
Silver Airways will use the Beech 1900Ds from its Montana operation to the Cleveland routes.
