Scoot to welcome third and fourth E190-E2 aircraft
Scoot, the low-cost subsidiary of Singapore Airlines, will take delivery of its third and fourth Embraer E190-E2 aircraft in September and October of this year. With the addition of the two new aircraft to the airline's fleet, Scoot will launch two new services within Southeast Asia to Kertajati, Indonesia and Malacca, Malaysia. “We are excited to announce the addition of another two new destinations to our growing network,” said Leslie Thng, CEO of Scoot. “Since the launch of our E190-E2 aircraft in May, we continue to see strong demand for our flights which have connected customers to and from our various destinations across Southeast Asia.” Scoots service to Kertajati will commence on September 28, 2024, operating twice weekly, while services to Malacca will begin on October 23,2024, operating five times per week.
