Scoot, the low-cost subsidiary of Singapore Airlines, will begin operations to Vienna on June 3, 2025.
The new service will be the first direct flight to connect Singapore with the Austrian capital, operating three times weekly by the airline’s 787-8 aircraft.
Leslie Thng, chief executive officer of the airline, noted that Scoot is “committed” to expanding its network and connecting travellers.
In addition, to the launch of its new route to Austria, Scoot will "adjust its network to better align capacity to demand and optimise aircraft deployment" by suspending operations to Berlin.
Scoot services to Berlin will be suspended from March 28, 2025.
