SAT AIRLINES ANNOUNCES OPERATING RESULTS FOR 2010

SAT Airlines carried 294,401 passengers, which is 26.8% up on 2009. In 2010, SAT Airlines provided 6,665 flights, including 1,304 flights on international routes, 5,361 flights on domestic routes, including 2,130 flights on intraregional routes. SAT Airlines provides international flights to Japan (Sapporo), Korea (Seoul) and China (Harbin, Dalian, Weihai), inter-regional transportation to Vladivostok, Khabarovsk, Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Blagoveshchensk, Magadan, and in intraregional flights to Okha, Yuzhno-Kurilsk, Burevestnik, Shakhtyorsk.

Growth in passenger traffic is generally attributed to the increase in traffic both in interregional service by 31% and international service by 9%. The airline carried 3203.13 tons of cargo which is 34.6% up on 2009 (domestic flights - up 30,4%, international flights - by 38,6%) due to regular cargo flights to South Korea.

Passenger traffic was 277 971.74 thousand passenger-miles that 26.6% up on 2010. Freight turnover amounted to 29 714.36 thousand ton-kilometers, which is 28.2% up on 2009.

Flying time was 11 063 hours which is 13,2% as much as in 2009.

The airline continues to implement the program of fleet development and expansion In 2011, the airline plans to open new routes: Khabarovsk-Petropavlovsk-Kamchatski, Khabarovsk-Shakhtyorsk, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk-Tokyo, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk-Beijing.
