SAS will resume services between Scandinavia and Beirut in June, after the airline ceased operations to the Lebanese capital in October 2023.
The airline will restart flights from both Stockholm and Copenhagen on June 6, 2025, citing “positive developments” in the region, with several European airlines also resuming or expanding their services to Beirut.
Many airlines suspended operations to the city following conflict between Israel and Hezbollah, which saw rocket strikes close to Beirut–Rafic Hariri International Airport.
SAS will operate three weekly services to Beirut from Copenhagen and two from Stockholm. All flights will be operated by the airlines A320neo fleet.
