SAS will introduce 28 new routes across 17 countries during the summer, offering 23 million seats, an increase of 2.2 million seats in comparison to the same period of the year prior.
The schedule features new routes from Scandinavia to destinations including Seoul, Seattle, Beirut, Rhodes and Malaga.
“By broadening our network and optimising travel options, we will provide our customers with unparalleled access to destinations across Europe, North America, Asia, and the Middle East, while continuing to consolidate Copenhagen’s role as a European world-class travel hub,” says Henrik Winell, vice president network at SAS.
The airline stated that these new and increased services throughout the summer period will create 70% more opportunities for passengers to connect across destinations served from its Copenhagen hub.
