SAS to increase operations from Copenhagen in summer 2025

Scandinavian airline SAS is set to expand its operations from Copenhagen next summer, with 15 new routes being introduced from the city.

The new destinations will include popular European cities such as Krakow, Madrid, Budapest, and Milan, as well as a new long-haul service to Seattle.

"Following new ownership and the successful completion of our restructuring, SAS is emerging as a competitive and financially strong airline," said Anko van der Werff, CEO of SAS. "By enhancing Copenhagen as our main hub and expanding our network, we are boosting connectivity and driving economic growth not only in Denmark but across Scandinavia."

In addition to the new routes from Copenhagen - SAS will also introduce a seasonal service between Oslo and New York (JFK) - further strengthening transatlantic connectivity.

The expansion aims to position Copenhagen as a key gateway for travel across Scandinavia and beyond.
