The airline Scandinavian Airlines System (SAS) is modifying the economy class seats BL3520 from Recaro Aircraft Seating for some 40 aircraft of its fleet. The German aircraft seat manufacturer will supply the parts for SAS‘ modification project as early as fall 2017. Only a few months lie between order and delivery.
SAS has ordered modification kits for approximately 5,000 economy class seats of the model BL3520 from Recaro Aircraft Seating. The aircraft seats will be upgraded with USB power. SAS has already equipped its entire short-range fleet with Recaro seats.
