SAS and Air Europa expand codeshare agreement

SAS and Air Europa have expanded their codeshare agreement on January 23, 2025. The expanded agreement will provide SAS' customers with access to 12 key destinations in Spain and Portugal, while Air Europa passengers will be able to benefit from SAS' Scandinavian network.

“With SAS' daily flights from Copenhagen to Madrid, we are improving connectivity between Scandinavia and key destinations across Spain and beyond,” said SAS chief commercial officer Paul Verhagen.

Air Europa commercial director Imanol Perez commented: “This agreement with SAS will expand customer choice by adding 20 new routes to our joint offering.”

SAS is set to launch new direct flights between Madrid and its main hub in Copenhagen from April 11, 2025, which will also benefit Air Europa passengers under the agreement.
