Oman’s SalamAir said on April 4, 2025, that its 15th aircraft is currently being prepared for delivery.
In a post on social media, Adrian Hamilton-Manns, the airline’s CEO, said the A321neo aircraft is the first of two units SalamAir will receive this year from SMBC Aviation Capital.
The airline chief also stated that this aircraft is set for delivery in June, with the second arriving in July. “These planes will help grow SalamAir capacity by 18%,” said Hamilton-Manns.
Along with the new deliveries, the airline has also finalised contracts for three A320s set for 2026. “This is putting us on a fast track for growth,” Hamilton-Manns added. “In the next 18 months, we will expand our network to include Africa, Central Asia, and Eastern Europe.”
Based out of Muscat, SalamAir currently operates an all-Airbus fleet, primarily operating within the Middle East and Asia.
