Safran Helicopters Engines and RIVE Private Investment, an independent European investment company, have signed an exclusive partnership agreement to accelerate the lessors’ ecological transition.
As part of the long-term partnership, Safran’s decarbonisation advisory offering (featuring a C02 emissions tracking model) will be made available to RIVE, which owns a fleet of 65 helicopters and 126 engines. Safran will also help RIVE provide decarbonisation training to its teem, offer assistance in analysing regulations and their impact, and help implement a SAF strategy.
“By becoming the world’s first customer for Safran’s new C02 emissions measurement and consultancy support offer, which we helped to inspire and structure, we are… strengthening our position as a leader in the leasing of impact transport assets,” noted Camille Brunel, partner at RIVE Private Investment.
Mathieu Albert, Safran Helicopters Engines EVP support and services, added that the collaboration would “help [RIVE] to better understand the issues in the decarbonisation of its operation, for the benefit of their customers and the market as a whole”.
