In its latest partnership with its 'approved' online travel agent (OTA), Ryanair has approved lastminute.com to offer its flights as part of the travel agent's package deals.
""This milestone partnership is great news for consumers as lastminute.com will now be authorised to offer Ryanair’s low-fare flights as part of its dynamic holiday packages and flights, putting them in stark contrast to the unauthorised OTAs who continue to overcharge customers with hidden mark-ups and provide fake customer contact and payment information to Ryanair,"" said Ryanair chief marketing officer Dara Brady.
Ryanair has been at war with ""unauthorised"" online travel agencies throughout 2024. It followed after its lost a court case against agency online travel agents in October last year after it sued the airline for damages from refunded flights. The agencies were awarded a total of £2 million ($2.55 million).
