An Air Zimbabwe aircraft was denied ground handling services at South Africa's OR Tambo International Airport last Friday due to unpaid debts. Passengers were delayed by four hours waiting for their baggage and also had to be ferried from the aircraft to the terminal in cars rather than a shuttle bus.
David Mwenga, Air Zimbabwe's General Manager for Europe, told SW Radio Africa the issue was resolved the same day allowing the airline to continue with its flights uninterrupted.
