Royal Brunei Airlines begins its four times weekly services to Melbourne tomorrow. The flight operates to Melbourne on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday using B777 equipment.
The maiden flight will depart Bandar Seri Begawan today at 22.00 hrs and arrive at Tullamarine Airport, Melbourne tomorrow at 07:55hrs. The return flight from Melbourne will depart Tullamarine Airport at 13:40 hrs and arrive in Bandar Seri Begawan at 17:40 hrs.
Royal Brunei Airline’s deputy chairman, Dermot Mannion said: “The launching of Royal Brunei Airline’s direct flight to Melbourne will strengthen the relationship between Australia and Brunei Darussalam – not just within tourism and trade but also in hopefully, the education sector. "Recent years have seen an increase in Brunei students’ interest to studying in Australia – this direct flight to Melbourne aims to make it easier for students and their families to travel.
