ANA has finalised a firm order with Airbus for 27 aircraft, including 24 A321neos and three A321XLRs.

This order covers 14 additional A321neos for ANA, as well as ten A321neos and three A321XLRs for the airline's low-cost subsidiary Peach.

The announcement was made at the Paris Air Show; the second order announcement made on the first day of the event.

At the signing ceremony, ANA Holdings' representative director, president and CEO Koji Shibata stated that this latest order will leverage the “evolving needs” of its passengers

The aircraft are expected to be delivered to ANA in the fiscal year 2030, with Airbus noting confidence in the ability to deliver the 27 single aisle planes on time to the carrier.

“We are confident to deliver the aircraft in line with the delivery schedule,” said Benoît de Saint-Exupéry, Airbus EVP sales of the commercial aircraft business. “We continue plans to ramp up single isle production.”

He added that was “no reason” that these aircraft would not be delivered to the Japanese carrier on time.

When asked about a potential ANA widebody order with Airbus, Saint-Exupéry stated that the company is already in discussion with ANA about the replacement of its widebody fleet.

The airline also signed a purchase agreement for 15 E190-E2 jets with options for five more. This agreement follows its initial announcement made in February 2025.
