Qatar Airways launch two new routes later this year, connecting Doha to Bogota and Caracas.
Commencing in the “early summer period” of 2025, Qatar will operate two weekly flights to the South American capitals. The flights will depart Doha to Bogota, with the same aircraft continuing on to Caracas, the return flight back to the Middle East will operate non-stop from Caracas.
The launch of this new service will make Qatar the first Middle Eastern carrier to operate to Venezuela.
Qatar Airways Group chief executive officer, Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, said the launch of new flights to South America is a “transformative” moment for the airline.
Qatar will operate flights to Bogota and Caracas on its 777-200LR aircraft.
