Qatar Airways resumed operations to Malta on July 2, 2025, after an almost five-year hiatus.
The airline confirmed a return of flights to Malta in January, after operations were suspended in late 2020 following low demand caused by the COVID-19 pandemic which made the route commercially unviable.
The Doha-based carrier will operate four weekly flights to the island nation, with these services operated by Qatar's fleet of A320 aircraft.
