Qatar Airways ups capacity on its Cape Town route

Qatar Airways has increased daily capacity to Cape Town with the introduction of a Boeing 777, replacing the current 787 aircraft. This means an additional 158 seats per day to the city for passengers.

UK travellers can fly with Qatar Airways from London Heathrow, Manchester, Edinburgh and Birmingham to Cape Town via Doha.

Qatar Airways has been serving Cape Town from its Doha hub since 2005, starting operations with four weekly flights via Johannesburg. Due to popular demand, the airline has been steadily upgrading its services, with a full non-stop daily service to the city launched in October 2015.
