Qatar Airways is to expand its services to Angola, including a new route to Kinshana, the Democratic Republic of Congo. With this addition, the total number of African destinations served by the airline now stand at 29.
“The inclusion of Kinshasa in our network is the latest manifestation of our efforts to improve connectivity to Africa,” commented Qatar Airways chief commercial officer Thierry Antinori. “We have seen significant milestones in our 2024 network expansion and this addition is particularly special”.
Luanda will see a frequency increase as of June 1 2024 with one weekly flight increased to four, including the addition of a combined service to Kinshasa. The route will be served by a 787-8 Dreamliner in a two-class configuration.
