Qatar Airways is increasing services from Doha to both Toronto and São Paulo, with the airline citing a commitment to serving growing demand on services to the Americas.

From June 19, 2025, the airline will operate five weekly flights to Toronto Pearson International Airport, with plans to ramp this up to a daily service for the winter season. Meanwhile, services to São Paulo’s Guarulhos International Airport will expand from 14 to 17 weekly flights starting June 25, 2025.

“We launched our services to Toronto Pearson Airport less than six months ago and have seen a strong response in the market,” stated Thierry Antinori, Qatar Airways chief commercial officer. “At the same time, we are expanding in South America with additional flights to São Paulo, a key gateway and strategic hub for business and leisure travel.”

Qatar stated that passengers travelling to São Paulo will continue to access 55 destinations in Latin America through LATAM Airlines, including Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires, and Santiago de Chile.
