Qatar Airways has partnered with Accenture to launch “AI Skyways,” a strategic initiative aimed at accelerating the adoption of artificial intelligence across the airline’s operations, the companies said.
The collaboration seeks to enhance customer experience, streamline operations, and improve overall performance across the Qatar Airways Group. Through AI Skyways, the airline plans to deploy responsible AI practices and data-driven platforms to optimise flight schedules, enable predictive maintenance, and personalise customer service.
“This partnership with Accenture to establish AI Skyways represents a significant milestone in our journey to become leaders in AI-driven aviation,” said Qatar Airways Group CEO Badr Mohammed Al-Meer. “The initiative will enhance real-time decision-making and improve operational responses across the Group.”
AI Skyways is also expected to help the airline adapt to evolving market dynamics by enabling scalable, replicable AI solutions that can be applied across future projects.
The project will follow strict ethical and data privacy standards, Qatar Airways added, with ongoing monitoring to ensure responsible AI deployment that benefits all stakeholders.
