Qantas is inviting cabin crew member that resigned or took redundancy during the pandemic to join back. The airline recently posted on the Flight Attendants’ Association of Australia Facebook page.
The post read: “As one of our cabin crew members who made an incredibly difficult decision to leave Qantas during the pandemic– we want to provide an update on how our recovery is going and the very different circumstances we’re operating in today,”
“As you know, the pandemic was extremely challenging for Qantas and the broader aviation industry. With the changes we made across the airline and the incredible rebound in travel over the past 12 months, the business is now back in profit and growing again,” the post continued.
It added that the airline is expecting more than 1,500 to join the company by the end of 2023.
Ex-crew members who wish to rejoin have the option of a 12-month contract or an ongoing permanent position.
