Premier Irish law firm McCann FitzGerald has appointed Richard Gill as a partner - Aviation and Asset Finance, New York.
Gill is part of McCann FitzGerald’s well-established aircraft leasing and aviation finance group, working both with US and Irish clients in the company's New York office.
Last year, McCann FitzGerald appointed Gill as senior associate.
As part of his role, Gill acts for many leading operating lessors and financiers in the aviation industry including AerCap, Nordic Aviation Capital, ORIX Aviation, BOC Aviation and GTLK Europe.
Gill has extensive experience in advising on cross border aircraft portfolio financings, aircraft sale and leaseback transactions, capital market transactions (including aircraft securitisations), ECA and Ex-Im backed financings and debt restructurings. Richard has also advised clients in connection with the acquisition and disposal of operating leasing companies and in relation to the establishment and operation of aviation joint ventures.
