Qantas has ditched its non-stop route between Perth and London Heathrow with the flight now operating via Singapore.
""We’re making adjustments to some of our flight paths due to the situation in parts of the Middle East as a precaution,"" said a spokesperson for the airline. ""We’re continuing to monitor the situation with a range of alternative flight path options available for our services to Europe.""
Qantas' other European routes - Perth to Paris and Perth to Rome, will continue as normal and will not be affected as these routes use different flight paths.
The airlines inbound service on the route, London to Perth, will continue to operate as normal due to prevailing winds.
