Northern Capital Gateway (NCG) is set to implement a digital enterprise management system (ERP system) at Pulkovo St Petersburg Airport.
The firm, which owns the Russian airport, will install the ERP system, which includes in-memory technology and machine learning capabilities by May 2020.
The new system, based on the innovative platform SAP S/4HANA, will allow the airport to regulate accounting and management processes and maintain active business growth under constant changes, the company says.
Leonid Sergeev, NCG CEO, said: “In 2018, Pulkovo served 18.1 million people and was among the top five fastest growing European airports in its category. The list of strategic priorities of NCG includes a further increase in passenger traffic, expansion of infrastructure, route network, attraction of new airlines to St. Petersburg, including low-cost carriers.
"Solving these tasks requires reliable, flexible and advanced IT architecture, which we will create together with SAP, the international leader of digital solutions for business.”
