PLAY announces new seasonal routes to Verona and Fuerteventura

PLAY Airlines is all set to launch new destinations namely, Verona, Italy, and Fuerteventura, Gran Canary as a part of its winter schedule. The airline recently announced ticket sales for winter getaways providing more travel options to passengers

Excited to launch new routes, Birgir Jónsson, CEO PLAY Airlines said: “By adding Verona and Fuerteventura to our growing list of destinations we will offer citizens of Verona and Fuerteventura the opportunity to visit Iceland with PLAY Airlines. We believe these new destinations will provide travelers with even more options for a fantastic travel experience."

PLAY will inaugurate flights from Reykjavik, Iceland, to Verona starting January 20, 2024.

"Visitors can indulge in the city's delicious culinary scene and enjoy a glass of local wine while exploring the historic center, or take a day trip to the nearby ski resorts for some winter fun. Some of the best ski resorts near Verona include Madonna di Campiglio, Folgaria, and Alpe Cimbra,” the airline said in a statement.

Flights to Verona are scheduled to be seasonal service, ending on February 24, 2024.

PLAY will begin service to Fuerteventura on December 20, 2023. The service to Fuerteventura will also be seasonal, expecting to run until April 10, 2024.

The announcement of the new seasonal flights to Verona and Fuerteventura comes as PLAY has grown its route network significantly. The airline has announced new services to Washington DC, Amsterdam, and Warsaw in the past two months.
