Peter Gerber has stepped into the role of chief executive officer at Condor Airlines, Germany’s second-largest airline; succeeding Ralf Teckentrup who held the position for nearly 20 years.
""I am very pleased to be taking over the management of Condor. Under Ralf Teckentrup’s leadership, the company has overcome existential crises in recent years and at the same time set an important course for the future,” said Gerber.
Gerber brings a wealth of aviation management experience to his new position, having previously held management and board positions in the Lufthansa Group for over 30 years. In recent years, he has also held the posts of chief representative for European Affairs for the Lufthansa Group, and president of the Federal Association of the German Air Transport Industry (BDL).
