Pegasus Airlines increased its passenger traffic by 10.8% in the first quarter of 2015 to carry 4.52 million passengers. Seat capacity rose 12.8% to 5.81 million during the same period.
The Turkish carrier controlled 21.9% of the countrys air travel during the first quarter, which comprised a 12.3% market share of international services from Turkey and 28% of the country’s domestic traffic. The airline’s overall load factor was 77.8%.
“We ended 2014 with growth in double-digit figures after a year of continuous growth and 2015 has been equally as dynamic,” Pegasus’ general manager Sertac Haybat said.
