The Oman Ministry of Finance has issued a circular to all government institutions as well as those which are 50% or more state-owned to use Oman Air when issuing air tickets to or from the Sultanate for employees as well as for hotel bookings, logistic services and air cargo.
The circular also stated that Oman Air should be used even in the case that it has no direct flights to the required destination. Only in case that Oman Air has no flights on the set date can the government organisation transfer it to other carriers.
