Arajet flew almost 32,200 passengers in April, according to the Dominican Republic's Civil Aviation Board, more than double the combined totals of its two main domestic rivals.

The CAB statistics showed Sky High carrying almost 10,000 passengers, the second highest after Arajet, and double what was handled by third-placed Air Century.
