Nouvelair, Tunisia’s private airline is all set to add another couple of European destinations to its network starting September. Nouvelair will launch direct flights between Tunis-Carthage International Airport (TUN) and Frankfurt Airport (FRA) starting September 10. The flights will be operated three times a week, departing Tunis on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
The airline plans to deploy its Airbus A320ceo on the route.
The airline currently operates six weekly flights to Frankfurt from other hubs like Monastir Habib Bourguiba (MIR) and Djerba-Zarziz International Airport (DJE). The new service will bring the airline’s frequency up to nine weekly flights, offering German travelers' multiple connections in Tunisia.
The carrier also offers direct flights from Tunis and Monastir to Düsseldorf, Munster, and Munich, operating over 12 weekly flights between Germany and Tunisia.
Nouvelair has also announced the launch of a new direct service between Tunis and Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport (BLQ), starting September 17. Flights will also be operated twice a week on Wednesdays and Sundays on its 320ceo.
The airline is set to begin its first-ever service to Italy on July 17, launching two weekly flights between Tunis and Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP). With this launch, Bologna will become its second destination in Italy.
From September 11, 2023, Nouvelair will commence a direct service between Tunis and Copenhagen Airport (CPH), with one weekly flight.
