Flag carrier Norwegian flew 1.7 million passengers in April 2023 for a load factor of 83%.
The passenger number was up 19% on April 2022, with capacity topping 2.6 million seat kilometres.
"In April, Norwegian operated an average of 71 aircraft with a regularity", the airline reported, despite Operations being "impacted by snowy weather at Oslo airport Gardermoen on 25 April".

April is the first full month of our summer schedule with more routes and higher frequencies to our many destinations across the Nordics and Europe. We are particularly pleased with the continued strong booking momentum ahead of the summer season,” said Geir Karlsen, chief executive.
The carrier said it was seeing "positive booking momentum" for the rest of 2023 and reminded that Norwegian and Widerøe customers can now fly on one ticket across both airlines’ networks.
