Norwegian group served over 2.5 million passengers in June, with Norwegian flying 2,245,735 passengers while Widerøe flew 2,592,482.
This represents an 11% increase in passengers since last June for Norwegian and a six percent increase for Widerøe.
“I am pleased about the double-digit percentage increase in passengers travelling with Norwegian compared to June last year, as well as the positive passenger figures for Widerøe,” said Geir Karlsen, CEO of Norwegian.
Actual passenger traffic (RPK) was 3,126 million seat kilometres, showing an increase of 16% when compared to June 2023. Load factor has also improved when compared to April and May, while being down one percentage point from June 2023.
